His artwork talks about the fascination provoked by the pictorial qualities, the graphic styles and the advertisement techniques, produced by colonialism and post-colonialism, manifested by the presence of the United Fruit Company in Central America and the Caribbean and its political, economic and social implications. He focuses on painting and engraving and has explored photography as an auxiliary medium of his pictorial work.
