Her work explores spirituality, metaphors and the transformations of life. Her work can be found in many collections, including the North Carolina Museum of Art, the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts, the Mint Art Museum, the Bank of America, the Bechtler Collection, The Ritz-Carlton, Duke Energy and the Gregg Museum of Art and Design. She received her B.F.A. from Virginia Intermont College, and M.F.A. from Arizona State University. Her work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at the University of South Carolina and Sol del Río (Guatemala), as well as in group exhibitions at the North Carolina Museum of Art (North Carolina), Projective Eye Gallery (North Carolina) ), Mint Museum (North Carolina), Mobile Museum of Art (Alabama), Robert Koch Gallery (California), Blue Spiral Gallery (North Carolina), Hodges Taylor Gallery (North Carolina) and Palais de Glace (Argentina) ), among many others.

Linda uses a 5 "x 7" camera that is more than 100 years old. "I like the imperfections of old lenses."
